A’Leithia Sweeting
Some prefer classic, others modern—A’Leithia is simply authentic. A Nassau-born Bahamian artist, her sound blends jazz, folk, and pop into something both fresh and familiar—hard to define, yet impossible to ignore.
Raised in a musically inclined family, she was always surrounded by melody, though it took time to fully step into her own voice. During an internship in Texas, her passion for music aligned with her faith, and she embraced her calling—picking up the guitar and discovering a sound uniquely her own.
Since then, her journey has taken her from The Bahamas to stages across the Caribbean and beyond, including the United States, Mexico, Fiji, Barbados, and Ghana. Her music continues to cross borders, connecting with audiences through its honesty, warmth, and spiritual depth.
Whether leading worship, writing from a deeply personal place, or performing live, A’Leithia creates moments that resonate across cultures and experiences. Her artistry reflects both her roots and her faith, shaping a sound that is as intentional as it is moving.
She is currently working on her debut EP, The Long Road Home, a project that captures her journey with Christ through life’s uncertainties, growth, and discovery—offering listeners a heartfelt glimpse into the songs that have long been stirring within her.
